Kaname Tousen returns Grimmjow to Hueco Mundo and seeks Aizen’s permission to execute him. After Aizen refuses, Tousen amputates Grimmjow’s arm and burns it, though Gin Ichimaru implies Aizen orchestrated the event. In the real world, Ichigo realizes his inner hollow is becoming uncontrollable and searches for the Visoreds. Ishida trains with his father at Karakura Hospital, while Chad asks Urahara for training. Ichigo locates the Vizards and engages Hirako in combat, hoping to learn how to master his hollow. Hiyori intervenes to stop the fight and dons her hollow mask to battle Ichigo instead.
