Chad utilizes his full power to dominate Gantenbainne, prompting the release of his zanpakutou. Chad then reveals his right arm is for defense and transforms his left arm into Brazo Izquierdo del Diablo, overpowering Gantenbainne and sparing his life. However, the Espada Nnoitora Gilga confronts Chad. Chad attempts to attack Nnoitora with his transformed left arm, but the effort is fruitless. Nnoitora swiftly defeats Chad, inflicting serious wounds with a single attack. This sequence occurs during the Arrancar: The Fierce Fight arc, specifically episode 7 of 16.
