Nnoitora abandons his easy victory to hunt another intruder, leaving Chad’s apparent death to resonate through Hueco Mundo. When Ulquiorra Schiffer brings dinner to Orihime Inoue, she rejects the news of Chad’s demise. Ulquiorra criticizes her friends for rushing into battle without understanding the odds, prompting Orihime to slap him before breaking down in tears. Elsewhere, Renji Abarai and Dondochakka Bilstin encounter Szayel Aporro. Renji’s bankai shatters immediately, as Szayel Aporro reveals the room was designed to negate it. Simultaneously, Rukia continues her fight against Aaroniero, who discloses that he has consumed and acquired the powers of over 33,650 hollows.
