Grimmjow Jeagerjaques saves Orihime from Loly and Menoly, killing the latter and injuring the former after she heals his arm. He requests her assistance and departs with her, though Orihime chooses to heal both Fracciónes first. In a separate location, Uryuu discovers that Szayel Aporro anticipated his arrival, rendering his attacks ineffective against the Espada and his Fracciónes. Renji intervenes to save Uryuu from a lethal strike. The two then prepare to cooperate in their efforts to defeat Szayel Aporro. This narrative occurs during the Arrancar: The Fierce Fight arc, specifically episode 12 of 16.
