Ichigo Kurosaki defeats Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez’s strongest attack, but the Arrancar tries to resume their battle. Nnoitra Gilga, the Fifth Espada, intervenes to attack Grimmjow, yet Ichigo shields his rival. As Ichigo engages Nnoitra, Tesla Lindocruz, Nnoitra’s subordinate, captures Orihime Inoue. Nnoitra asserts his superiority over Grimmjow. Meanwhile, Renji Abarai, Uryuu Ishida, Pesche Guatiche, and Dondochakka Bilstin attempt to escape the Espada Szayel Aporro Grantz. Szayel Aporro manipulates the building’s structure, redirecting the hallways to lead the group back toward their battlefield, trapping them in the process.
