Nnoitra recalls sparring with Neliel, whom he easily defeated until he paralyzed her with Szayel Aporro's help by attacking her subordinates, Pesche and Dondochakka. He abandoned her outside Aizen's palace, where she transformed into an amnesiac child that the subordinates vowed to protect. In the present, Nnoitra taunts Neliel about this history while she prepares to release her zanpakutou. This narrative occurs during the Arrancar vs. Shinigami arc, specifically episode 5 of 14.
