Kenpachi strikes Nnoitra with precise force, wounding him. After Nnoitra accidentally removes Kenpachi's eyepatch during an attack, Kenpachi's power limits are lifted, allowing him to slash through Nnoitra's torso. Nnoitra releases his zanpakutou, gaining an extra pair of arms. He severely wounds Kenpachi, who manages to cut off one of Nnoitra's arms. Nnoitra regenerates the limb and continues his assault, growing another pair of arms to stab Kenpachi with one of his hands. This confrontation occurs during the Arrancar vs. Shinigami arc.
