The kemari match begins with Jinta Hanakari and Ururu Tsumugiya refereeing under Kisuke Urahara’s supervision and barrier. Teams play comically while Ikkaku Madarame spars with Ichigo, mistaking it for training. A hollow appears due to spiritual pressure but is swiftly defeated by Ichigo, Uryuu, and Chad. The game concludes when Lurichiyo’s team drops the ball. Before she can mourn returning to her world, Shuu Kannogi arrives from the human world. He demonstrates that Lurichiyo’s Soul Society tournament concept is appreciated by ordinary people. Satisfied by this validation, Lurichiyo decides to return to the Soul Society, ending the event on a positive note for her.
