Following Kenpachi’s victory over Nnoitra, Espadas Coyote Stark and Lilinette Gingerbuck abduct Orihime to a tower in Hueco Mundo. There, Sousuke Aizen reveals his plan to destroy Karakura Town alongside Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tousen. Aizen uses kidou to summon Soul Reaper captains, Ichigo, and his friends, intending to trap them. As Aizen prepares to travel to Karakura Town via garganta, First Division Captain Genryuusai Shigekuni Yamamoto confronts him with five other captains. Aizen summons Espadas Stark, Lilinette, Baraggan Louisenbairn, and Tier Halibel, while ordering Ulquiorra Schiffer to defend Las Noches. Meanwhile, Ichigo senses the danger to Orihime and departs immediately to rescue her.
