Yoruichi, Ukitake, Kyouraku, and Kenpachi plan to rescue Yamamoto despite facing high-class zanpakutou. Kazeshini returns to the hideout and faints from exhaustion. The group splits up; Ukitake and Kyouraku encounter Sougyo no Kotowari and Katen Kyoukotsu, while Kenpachi and Yachiru meet Gonryomaru and Tenken after getting lost. Yoruichi defeats Haineko and Tobiume. Ichigo, guided by Minazuki, confronts Kazeshini, breaking the zanpakutou into pieces. He then continues his journey to locate Yamamoto. This segment is part of the Zanpakutou Unknown Tales arc, specifically entry (17/26).
