Ep. 272: Ichigo defeats Ulquiorra in Hollow form while Rukia and others defeat Rudbornn

Chad and Renji break Rudbornn's defense while Rukia freezes him, allowing Yammy to finish him off. Ichigo, in his new Hollow form, kills Ulquiorra with a cero, but stabs Uryuu when the latter intervenes. Ulquiorra awakens, causing the attack to backfire and revert Ichigo to normal. Ulquiorra requests a rematch, but Ichigo proposes an even fight. Ulquiorra realizes his body is expiring from power exhaustion, yet Ichigo refuses to kill him. As Ulquiorra turns to ash, he recalls conversations with Orihime and realizes he has grown a heart. He asks Orihime if she fears him, and upon her negative reply, he dissolves into the wind.
