Ep. 302: Ichigo trains in Dangai to master Final Getsuga Tenshou while Aizen confronts friends in Karakura Town

With the Koutotsu destroyed, the Dangai’s time dilation allows Ichigo to spend 2,000 hours, equivalent to three months, while only one hour passes externally. Isshin devises a plan for Ichigo to learn the Final Getsuga Tenshou within this timeframe by directly contacting his zanpakutou. Inside his inner world, Ichigo encounters Tensa Zangetsu, the spirit of his bankai, who refuses to cooperate and reveals Ichigo’s inner hollow as the source of his despair. Simultaneously, in the real Karakura Town, Keigo Asano and Tatsuki Arisawa awaken and wander the streets, confused by recent events. Aizen locates Arisawa and paralyzes her with his spiritual pressure, whereas Gin allows Keigo to escape. This sequence occurs during the Arrancar: Downfall arc, specifically episode 34 out of 39.
