Ichigo and his friends appear as various monsters in a dream, with Ichigo resembling Frankenstein's monster. They gather in a castle to defend the Snow Crystal from hunters Isshin and Ryuuken Ishida. The monsters attempt to stop the hunters, but Ichigo secretly desires the crystal to become human and wake up. When the crystal goes missing, Isshin and Ryuuken depart before Ichigo and Uryuu, who is a vampire, can attack. It is revealed that Rukia, appearing as a succubus, is the Snow Crystal, causing Ichigo to transform into a wolf. The entire event is shown to be a dream created by Komamura in the Soul Society.
