Yumichika returns to his captain after defeating Hisagi, while Kenpachi notes that Komamura fled when Yamamoto began fighting. Kyouraku and Ukitake choose to battle their teacher, utilizing the shikai of their zanpakutou. Simultaneously, second division captain Suì-Fēng engages Yoruichi, her former commander and teacher, gaining the upper hand by employing her shikai. Believing she holds the advantage, Suì-Fēng activates a nameless technique she recently discovered, which significantly amplifies her power. However, Yoruichi counters by activating the identical technique, identifying it as shunko. This event occurs during the Soul Society: The Rescue arc, specifically episode 15 of 22.
