Following the consumption of bitto power, Kariya orders the Bounts to test their abilities before retiring. While Yoshi attacks Rukia, Orihime, and Kuroudo en route to aid Renji, Ichigo confronts Koga and his doll, Dalk. Dalk traps Ichigo in a metal net, prompting his inner hollow to take over and easily defeat the doll. Before delivering the final blow, Ichigo regains control of his body but collapses from exhaustion. This segment represents episode 19 of the 28-part Bount arc.
