Tenth division lieutenant Rangiku Matsumoto joins Chad, Ururu, and Noba in combat against the Bount Sawatari. Sawatari summons Baura, a giant rock-like fish capable of phasing through solid matter into another dimension. This ability makes Baura difficult to attack, allowing it to swallow Ururu. Rangiku acts as bait to draw Baura from the ground, enabling Chad to strike it into Noba. Noba uses his powers to banish Sawatari and Baura to another dimension, but the pair escape, leaving Noba injured. This event occurs during the Bount arc, specifically episode 23 of 28.
