Ichigo and Renji reach the cave entrance and are surrounded by Gesell, small one-eyed flying creatures. Rangiku instructs them to destroy anything casting a shadow, and they defeat the swarm. However, their own shadows summon Ugaki’s sword arms. Hisagi and Kira arrive to assist them. Meanwhile, Nemu visits Uryuu to attack him and verify his lost powers. She then provides a Quincy battle accessory that allows Uryuu to regain his abilities. This segment is part of the Bount arc, specifically episode 26 out of 28.
