Following their victories over the Bounts, Ichigo and his allies reunite at Urahara’s shop. Meanwhile, Soul Reapers traveling to the Bount hideout are ambushed by Ugaki, who employs his doll Gesell to isolate and defeat them one by one. Concurrently within the Soul Society, Yamamoto alerts Byakuya to suspicions of treason against Mayuri, ordering the Kuchiki clan to surrender all records concerning the Bounts. This segment represents the twenty-fifth episode of the twenty-eight episode Bount arc, continuing the narrative conflict between the Soul Reapers and the Bount faction while introducing internal political tensions within the Gotei 13.
