Mitsuki locates a possessed target across town, depleting their chakra during the journey. Meanwhile, Sai informs Naruto of Wood Style evidence linked to the disbanded Foundation, prompting caution. Naruto confides in Hinata about his parenting struggles due to his fatherless childhood. The next day, the group faces punishment from Bureau Chief Komame for delivery complaints. After watching news of a possessed person barricaded in the Water Purification Plant, Boruto realizes Sumire and two classmates are there for work experience and rushes to rescue them.
