Ep. 12: Boruto and Mitsuki

During a class exercise, Boruto’s team fails because Denki lags behind, prompting Boruto to assist him. Shino declares the entire class failed for abandoning teammates to win. Denki notes recent calm, while Inojin suggests stopping the search for the culprit as elders pursue him, but Boruto persists. Mitsuki observes Boruto’s popularity, which Inojin attributes to Boruto’s desire to define himself beyond being the Hokage’s son. Mitsuki visits Sumire at the hospital, where she describes Boruto as troublesome yet fun and reveals her orphan status. Later, at Boruto’s home, Hinata announces Naruto’s arrival for dinner. Mitsuki asks Boruto about his feelings toward his father, but dinner interrupts. Naruto joins them but must leave immediately after a shadow clone reports strong chakra spreading across the village. Enraged by the abandonment, Boruto runs away, with Mitsuki following. Mitsuki claims to know the culprit’s identity.
