Shino succumbs to a dark aura and attacks Boruto, leaving Shikadai and Mitsuki trapped in the forest. Mitsuki hides a secret unknown to the others. After regaining consciousness, Shino rescues Boruto and Mitsuki from drowning and reports to the Hokage's office. Naruto detects a brewing danger and instructs Shino to investigate the situation. This event occurs during the Academy Entrance Arc, specifically episode 6 of 15.
