The Inner, Delta, found blood on the vendor's rag. Kawaki faced his father's anger over lost money, but Jigen arrived that night to purchase the boy from his indifferent father. The vendor, revealed as a human trafficker, obstructed their path. Jigen sent Kawaki ahead and emerged unharmed shortly after. They reached the Kara hideout, where Amado awaited, preparing a laboratory for the boy's arrival. In the present timeline, Kawaki is greeted by Naruto at the Leaf hospital.
