The Uzumaki family arrives at a hot springs inn, where Kawaki’s wariness leads Boruto to suspect he fears ghosts. Mirai discovers from Shikamaru that this is the same haunted location she previously visited with Guy and Kakashi. Boruto and Kawaki challenge Naruto and Hinata to a ping-pong match, with Himawari refereeing; the parents win by overwhelming their children. While Himawari plays cards with her parents, Kawaki and Boruto explore the inn, encountering the spirit that once haunted Guy. Kawaki ultimately realizes he is glad he came. Before departing, the family receives a commemorative photo that reveals the spirit, startling the boys.
