Ep. 286: Sasuke rescues Sakura and exposes Jiji's tragic past involving Margo and Zansul's deception.

Sasuke, aided by a genjutsu-bound Meno, defeats flying beasts to reach the observatory, discovering Jiji is Zansul's accomplice. He rescues and heals Sakura, while Meno saves inmates. Sakura lures the horde away, crushing them with taijutsu. Sasuke and Meno advance against Zansul, who receives news that Kakashi and King Nanara captured the traitorous Prime Minister. Zansul panics, issuing conflicting orders that cause him to fall to his death. Sasuke retrieves particles from the body and joins Sakura, who has bound Jiji. Sasuke questions Jiji's motives, learning he was a Hidden Sand rogue who loved Margo. Zansul promised to reanimate her corpse to recruit Jiji, but Sasuke reveals Margo faked her death to aid Kakashi and Nanara. Jiji protects Sakura from a beast to atone, is healed, and reunites with Margo to serve Nanara. Kakashi reports success to Naruto and Shikamaru, while Sakura speaks with Ino. Sasuke and Sakura ponder when he will settle down.
