Searching for Kara information near the Land of Redaku, Sasuke recalls Shikamaru’s news that Naruto suffers from the same illness as the Sage of Six Paths. Leaf researchers found the Sage recovered in the 5,000 year old Observatory there. Shikamaru noted Kakashi went to find a cure but became tutor to dethroned prince Nanara. Sasuke entered the Observatory as a prisoner forced to build a telescope. After a brawl, Director Zansul intervened to spare Sasuke. He met cellmates, then escaped to explore, encountering Zansul’s chakra-less dinosaur guard. Zansul warned Sasuke that genjutsu fails on him too due to fake eyes. Meanwhile, Kakashi accessed the library via Nanara and found the Sage’s manuscript.
