Ep. 12: The group mourns Hakko and Santana while stranded on a train hijacked by Alphard.

Following the deaths of Hakko and Santana, the group remains despondent. Maria attempts to lift Canaan’s spirits, noting the latter’s grim expression in a recent photo. After their vehicle breaks down, Minoru stays behind to repair it while the others board a train to Shanghai. The train halts for an inspection, prompting Canaan to investigate gunshots. She experiences hallucinations of Siam and Hakko, who blame her for the tragedies. Meanwhile, Alphard hijacks the train and approaches Maria and Yunyun. She persuades Maria to photograph her for a decisive match against Canaan. Alphard then shoots Maria, locking her and Yunyun in a bomb-equipped car to force Canaan to fight at full strength. During the battle, Alphard taunts Canaan regarding Siam’s death. To prevent Canaan from being burdened, Maria orders Yunyun to detach their car as the bomb timer counts down.
