After shopping and encounters with Shion and Tokoha, the pair witnesses a conflict between two boys. Jaime resolves the dispute by offering food, prompting a match that the younger boy wins, leading to friendship. Jaime shares his purchases with the children. When Jaime finally wishes to play, Mamoru arrives and reveals Jaime is a rising star from the European League. He has been invited to Japan to compete for the Euro team against the Tokyo team, which includes Mamoru. Jaime advises Chrono to watch the upcoming interleague match before departing with Mamoru.
