Ep. 22: Chrono battles Kouji for the Gear Chronicle deck after quitting Vanguard.

Following a team tournament incident, Chrono abandons his deck and quits playing Vanguard despite friends' encouragement. While walking past children enjoying the game, he returns to the card shop to find Kouji holding the deck. Kouji explains his prior encounter with a Gear Chronicle user and the deck's unique power. Determined to prevent Kouji from keeping it, Chrono challenges him to a duel for ownership. During the match against Kouji's Link Joker Messiah deck, Chrono realizes that although his fighter points are depleted, the cherished memories shared with his friends remain. Ultimately, Kouji wins the battle but chooses to leave the deck with Chrono.
