Chokotan!

A dog named Chokotan can communicate with humans using their language. Nao, who owns Chokotan, has a crush on a boy named Arima, who owns another dog called Hatsupi. On Hatsupi’s birthday, Nao bakes biscuits that can be eaten by both dogs and people. While walking with Chokotan, Nao and Arima run into each other on the street, but Nao flees before she can hand the biscuits to Arima. Chokotan helps Nao gain confidence, and she decides to return to give the biscuits to Arima. The story explores whether Nao can find the courage to talk to Arima casually and reveals something about Chokotan’s hidden ability.
