Tomoyo warns that police intervention is imminent if the gang dispute escalates further. To prevent a large-scale brawl caused by a misunderstanding, Yukine and Tomoya attempt to negotiate with the opposing group. The rival leader proposes a duel between himself and Kazuto, forcing Youhei to substitute for his brother, though he and others are incapacitated by Sanae’s bread. Tomoya, having avoided the food, engages the leader in combat. Yukine then impersonates Kazuto to halt the violence and discloses to the group that Kazuto has been deceased for some time, noting his desire for peace. At the cemetery, Yukine honors her brother while the rival gang joins in respect. As Tomoya observes a light orb ascending, Yukine later explains the city’s legend regarding these phenomena to Tomoya, Nagisa, and Youhei.
