Hiroshi attempts to rest early to prepare for an early wake-up, but Shin-chan provides an energy drink that prevents him from sleeping. Later, Hiroshi travels for an office trip and dozes off during the journey. In a separate segment, Hiroshi and Misae take Shin-chan to view a sea lion show. Shin-chan becomes highly excited and actively participates in the performance. He eventually returns home carrying a sea lion toy as a souvenir from the event.
