Shin-chan and his friends attend a summer camp where they form a group, build their own tent, and assist Yoshinaga with meal preparation. The principal challenges the students to demonstrate courage by venturing into the forest to stamp a paper, an activity that frightens Kazama significantly. Meanwhile, Misae reserves a watermelon for dinner, but Shin-chan eats it instead. When confronted, he attempts to shift the blame onto Shiro, yet his mother quickly discovers the truth and catches him in the act.
