Matsuzaka takes a day off to visit a department store but finds her enjoyment ruined by Shin-chan and his mother. Meanwhile, Misae hosts Nene-chan until the girl's mother returns, at which point Shin-chan causes trouble, leading to a shouting match. Misae then realizes she has forgotten her house key. Consequently, she and Shin-chan are forced to spend the entire day outside. They only feel relieved when Hiroshi returns home late at night, allowing them to finally enter the house.
