Doctor Yamano discloses the rationale behind the AX-000 development to the group. The team determines that obtaining the blueprint hidden within the old Innovator base is essential. This objective is interrupted by news of a power station in Indonesia being attacked by ghost-jacked LBXs. Consequently, the group divides into two teams. Hiro, Jessica, Ran, Asuka, and Cobra travel to Indonesia to suppress the rebellion. Meanwhile, Ban, Ami, Kazuya, Jin, Yagami, and Doctor Yamano proceed to the Innovator base to pursue their original goal.
