Ep. 8: Ganta joins Scar Chain to expose Deadman Wonderland while doubting his own memories.
Shiro regains control via a lullaby, forcing Genkaku to retreat. Ganta meets Scar Chain members plotting to leak Deadman Wonderland secrets during inspection week. Makina also seeks hidden truths. Ganta distrusts the group after security footage contradicts his claim that Genkaku stopped his Branch of Sin, leading him to leave. He later learns from Senji that Genkaku killed Nagi's wife and hears each member's definition of freedom. Ganta promises Shiro a Ferris wheel ride upon escape and joins the group. It is revealed that Bundo Rokuro is a double agent for the Undertakers. The group begins leaking deadmen information. During the operation, Nagi and Rokuro enter the security room while Ganta and others flee an acid-spewing robot. Karako stays behind to ensure the others' safety.
