Ep. 9: Karako destroys a robot while Nagi sacrifices his arm to activate an elevator for Ganta's group.

Karako recalls joining Scar Chain before defeating an acid-spewing robot, falling with it. Meanwhile, Nagi is betrayed by Rokuro and confronted by Undertaker Hibana Daida, who neutralizes his Branch of Sin. To activate the elevator Ganta's group needs, Nagi provokes Hibana by mentioning her abusive mother, allowing her to chop off his arm. Ganta's group faces Genkaku and his men, leaving only Ganta and a few survivors with the information chip. As Nagi bleeds to death, he calls the hideout, alerting Shiro. Shiro catches up to Ganta and throws the chip into a fire, ending the transmission.
