Meanwhile, at the bridge where the incident occurred, Rubi and Khi discover a lost human capsule that had spilled from an overturned box truck. The truck had crashed after seeing a stray cat in the road. The capsule is noted to show Exposition. The events connect the rescue of the girl with the discovery of the capsule by Rubi and Khi.
EP 2Neneko assigns Takeya to teach Ren Japanese after a chaotic morning

Jul 25, 2004Miu settles into her homestay with an elderly couple she affectionately calls her grandparents. Ren, having been scolded by Takeya for being naked, cleans his apartment by throwing furniture and trash out the window, receiving yesterday's shopping change from Neneko in return. Xaki orders Nia to apprehend Ren. The next morning, Ren visits the market and buys melonpan due to its scent. Nia attempts to capture him but fails, leaving absentmindedly. Ren then visits Takeya at school, causing a disturbance that ends when people believe she is Miu's substitute and Takeya is her sponsor. Exhausted and confused, Takeya and Ren return home together.
EP 4Ren starts school well while Miu challenges her replacement through three duels
Aug 1, 2004Ren begins her first day of school and assimilates quite nicely, earning respect and admiration from everyone. When Miu arrives and learns of her replacement, she charges at Ren, refusing to coincide with her as the student diplomat. In response, the school holds three duels: a 100 yard dash, a liberal arts test, and a cookoff. While Miu effectively wins 3-1, she mournfully forfeits the last challenge. Nevertheless, the principal asks both girls to stay, with Miu vowing to watch Ren attentively.
EP 5Takeya's confusion regarding Ren leads to rash behavior and a tense encounter with Ren.
Aug 8, 2004Takeya becomes detached and confused about Ren, causing him to act increasingly rashly toward her. Miu assists by explaining the situation and supervising Takeya after class. That night, Khi visits Miu to gather information on Ren. Meanwhile, back at the apartment, Ren becomes uncontrollably aroused by her own body. Aug 29, 2004A flashback depicts Miu failing to save her former master from fatal hemorrhaging. At school, Miu challenges Ren to a Dears game called Palaga, driven by lingering jealousy. During the match, Miu and Takeya fall into a water well located behind her homestay. Trapped, they discuss the enslavement of Dears and Miu’s traumatic history with her ex-master. Miu overcomes her emotional barriers and uses her abilities to fly them both out of the well. Upon their rescue, Takeya is greeted by an overjoyed Ren, marking a turning point for Miu as she confronts her past.

Takeya offers a sharp critique of the designs, which deeply offends Neneko, causing her to leave while Takeya remains unapologetic. The next day, Neneko appears casual and unaffected by the incident. However, Takeya feels a strong sense of guilt regarding his behavior. By the end of the day, he approaches Neneko to sincerely apologize for his previous rudeness and the hurtful nature of his comments.

Sep 12, 2004Natsuki and Harumi visit Takeya and Ren at their apartment. At school, Yoshimine announces that students failing three or more classes must attend tutoring for the following week. Consequently, Neneko, Ren, Miu, and Hikoro gather at Takeya's apartment to study together. Yoshimine misunderstands this gathering as an orgy. Takeya leaves to buy snacks and encounters Nia, with whom he converses. Meanwhile, Natsuki searches for her brother, misled by Yoshimine's false information. The group notices a stranded kitten on a power line pole. Nia retrieves the kitten, and Natsuki saves it. Both girls return with Takeya to the apartment, where Khi arrives to pick up Nia.

Sep 19, 2004Khi visits Miu at school to announce that Ren's confirmation ceremony will be annulled. Takeya has distanced himself from her following two embarrassing incidents, including one where Yoshimine asked him to fetch class textbooks. Ren attempts to collect the materials but enters the wrong room and meets Hirofumi. During a discussion about sexual interests, Hirofumi feels misled and embraces Ren, but the moment is interrupted by Takeya. Upon returning from work, Khi and Miu inform Takeya that Ren is to be recalled. While Takeya sits in shock, Xaki locates Ren in the market.

The entire school assembles to help, with Yoshihime motorcycling Takeya to Ren. After a scuffle with Xaki, Takeya emphatically changes his mind, making it his final decision to remain Ren's master and invalidating the recall.
