Ep. 32: Mikami embraces his divine mission while Light manipulates Takada to expose his identity to the investigation team.
Teru Mikami, driven by childhood tragedy, believes he is God’s instrument against evil. When criminals begin dying, he views this as righteous judgment and appears on "Kira's Kingdom." After receiving a Death Note from Light, Mikami eagerly executes criminals on Light’s behalf. Light selects Kiyomi Takada, a former college girlfriend, as the new spokesperson. He arranges a meeting with Takada to aid the investigation, during which Mikami calls her. Light reveals himself as Kira to Mikami and devises a scheme to force investigators to remove listening devices. He then tells Takada he wants her as his goddess in the new world. Light informs the investigation team he will pose as Takada’s boyfriend to catch Kira. Meanwhile, Mello observes Misa, suspecting she is the second Kira.
