Lieral Lieutolu, claiming to be Ryner's father, attempts to sedate him in the garden, but Ryner evades capture when Lucile arrives. Ferris locates Lieral but fails to rescue Ryner from the mysterious duke. Ryner finds himself trapped in a strange inner world where he confronts the Alpha. Iluna Lieutolu, claiming to be his mother, temporarily dissolves the illusion through emergence and instructs him to pass through a large door before being devoured by the Alpha. Ryner unexpectedly wakes up in a bed with his longtime companion. Meanwhile, Lucile brings Sion into a room for a confrontation with his alter ego. Riphal releases Kiefer from her cell and orders her to bring Ryner to him, fearing that Sion has already made plans to kill Ryner.
