Riphal discovers Kiefer is a spy and chains him in an underground dungeon. Ryner and Ferris return to Roland, where they are locked in Sion's office to process extensive paperwork. Milk awakens from Froaude's spell to learn her beloved parents have been murdered. Ryner worries about Sion's excessive workload. Froaude confronts Sion, questioning why Ryner remains alive. In response, Sion unleashes his full power against Froaude.
