Ferris learns from Eslina Folkal that Ryner is in Estabul and destroys an inn while questioning him about Lucile. Tiir intervenes to calm the pair, but Sion arrives with an army to attack Tiir with arrows. After Ryner and Ferris leave safely, Sion halts the assault. Tiir then proposes that Ryner escape his difficult life, a suggestion that upsets Ferris but gains Sion's understanding.
