When Sebastian fails to retrieve the Commune, he confesses the truth to Alice, who reassures him that his current self is sufficient. At an amusement park, Alice confronts Marmo’s abuse of power. Her determination to help Sebastian allows her to discover her own feelings, enabling her shield to reflect Marmo’s attack and destroy the device.
