While Chiaotzu locates the fifth Dragon Ball, Master Roshi resolves to confront King Piccolo to retrieve the other two. Roshi conceals the balls he has gathered, but King Piccolo swallows them, ruining the plan. To stop Tien from engaging in battle, Roshi paralyzes him. Finally, King Piccolo leaps down to face Roshi directly. This sequence highlights the escalating conflict and the strategic moves made by both sides as the villain advances toward his goal.
