Ep. 34: Giant Ape Son Goku's Rampage After Failed Transformation
Aired on January 22, 1997
Transformed into a Super Saiyan Great Ape, Goku attacks Baby but loses control, rampaging through the area. Baby retreats to his tower with infected Bulma, planning to transform into a Great Ape to destroy Goku. After the destruction, Goku approaches a lake to drink but spots Earth and runs toward it. Standing on a mountaintop, he reaches for the planet until Pan arrives. She attempts to snap him out of his trance but is swatted away. Pan then displays a photo of their family and friends on a beach vacation. Combined with her tears, this memory restores Goku's consciousness. He then undergoes another transformation, becoming Super Saiyan 4.
