Android 17 hypnotizes Android 18 and orders her to join him. Krillin attempts to reason with 17 but is killed. 18 fights 17 and loses, prompting 17 to seek his counterpart. In hell, Goku’s body heat melts the ice, allowing him to escape. He uses a freezing machine on Frieza and Cell, accidentally shattering them. On Earth, the two 17s merge into Super Android 17. Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, Goten, and Majuub attack but are defeated by single punches. Goku asks King Yemma to return him to Earth, but Yemma refuses. Piccolo convinces Yemma he caused havoc with energy waves, securing permission to travel to hell.
