Vegeta defeats Ginyu, who attempts body swaps but ends up trapped in a frog after Goku interferes. Vegeta spares Ginyu and places Goku in a healing chamber, providing armor to Krillin and Gohan. Krillin departs to find the Grand Elder for the Namekian Dragon Balls summoning ritual, meeting Dende who agrees to translate. Meanwhile, Nail fights Frieza to buy time, eventually revealing his strategy before Frieza rushes back to his ship. Seizing the opportunity while Vegeta sleeps, Krillin, Gohan, and Dende retrieve the Dragon Balls and successfully summon Porunga, the Eternal Dragon of Namek.
