Goku activates the Kaio-ken technique, reaching a power level of 180,000, which terrifies Captain Ginyu. Meanwhile, the Grand Elder empowers Dende and instructs him to locate the Earthlings, who lack knowledge of the Namekian Dragon Balls. Nail engages Frieza to buy time, surprising the tyrant with his 42,000 power level despite Frieza’s current form boasting 530,000. Frieza restricts himself to one-tenth power and one arm, yet remains astonished by Nail’s regenerative abilities, which drain his own strength. Elsewhere, Gohan and Krillin save Bulma from a dinosaur and use the dragon radar to find the Dragon Balls.
