Ep. 46: Goku Charges the Spirit Bomb While Frieza Attacks Piccolo and Gohan

Frieza, still using only 50% of his power, overpowers Goku despite his efforts to fight evenly. Realizing physical attacks are futile, Goku begins gathering energy for the Spirit Bomb. With insufficient ki on Namek, he draws power from neighboring worlds, a process requiring significant time and focus. An impatient Frieza resumes his assault, prompting Piccolo to sacrifice his remaining energy along with that of Gohan and Krillin to distract the tyrant. Frieza spots the Spirit Bomb’s reflection in a lake and attempts to kill Goku before completion. Piccolo intervenes with a powerful kick, drawing Frieza’s attention away from Goku. Although Frieza quickly defeats Piccolo, Goku continues charging the massive energy sphere.
