Ep. 49: Goku Aims to Avenge Fallen Allies as Namek Faces Imminent Destruction

Frieza triggers Namek's core explosion, claiming the planet has five minutes left. Super Saiyan Goku believes he can defeat Frieza in that time, but Frieza begins powering up to 100%. As the battle rages, Goku urges Frieza to stop stalling. Frieza increases his power to 60% and then 70%, blasting Goku into the planet's surface. King Kai advises Goku to attack while Frieza is still powering up, but Goku refuses. Instead, he allows Frieza to reach full power, wanting to defeat the tyrant at his best strength to avenge his friend Krillin.
