Six months after the full moon incident, Gohan has improved his wilderness survival skills and begins martial arts training with Piccolo. Meanwhile, Goku arrives at the end of Snake Way and meets King Kai on a small planet with ten-times Earth's gravity. To begin training, Goku must make King Kai laugh. After succeeding, he is tasked with catching the master's pet monkey, Bubbles. The intense gravity makes this pursuit difficult, but Goku remains persistent and refuses to give up on the challenge.
